Cinema 4D Tutorial – Recreate a Piece of Art

If you haven’t heard of Pawel Kuczynski you should check out his work. Its stonkingly good! Anyway, I was sent one of his images (not by him I might add) and asked if I thought it would translate into Cinema very well. I thought it was such a great image that I decided to take on the challenge! Then I made a tutorial out of it for you to follow if you like.

So, in this tutorial we look at some key things, including modelling the scene, creating the background, lighting everything and all the little bits in between! Even though I am doing this tutorial in R16, pretty much everyone is backwards compatible. You may not have certain materials in older versions of the content browser but you should have something in there of use.

An interesting and fun little one I think!

Hello there! Thanks for your tutorials, I really appreciate them! 🙂
I have a problem with texturing in this one! I can’t put material in the Mail Wall! I do the same you did in your video but the material appears only on wall’s fillet caps! Any suggestion?

    I’m using Cinema 4D Studio R15!

    Thank you in advance,

    Marco

Hello sir. Thanks for your tutorials. I found them really easy to follow and I learned many things from them.
I found this image and in my opinion it looks really nice and maybe if you want and have time to make a tutorial on how to achieve the text like in that image. I don’t know who is the creator of it but I see a name in the address bar Pauls_2. Thank you!
