Cinema 4D Quick Tip – Rotate an Object Forever

In this simple quick tip video we look at an easy way to make an object in Cinema 4D rotate forever using xpresso. You do have to watch out though. If you have a long scene with lots of frames and lots of xpresso, Cinema 4D will prepare and go through all of the xpresso for the entire scene! This can seriously impact render times.

I have some additional ideas. Expresso is nice, but if it is easer I’ll do 😀

    1) Just make rotation with two keyframes (via armstrong). Mark them both and in Timeline editor and select from menu Key -> Cycle

    2) Just make rotation with two keyframes. Select the track(!) in Timeline editor and select from menu Functions -> Track after -> Repeat

    3) Drive the object with a motor.

    Best regards,
    Markus
